GRADING

HOW TO VIEW YOUR GRADE

Your Grade Book is live and visible to you and your learning coach 24/7.

Check scores on your assignments and read feedback from your teacher frequently.

You may make revisions on all written-response assignments to improve your score.  If you use the feedback from your teacher, you will see a change in your score.

All work must be submitted in a digital format. No handwritten or JPEGs will be accepted.

VIEWING TEACHER FEEDBACK

  • Log in to the student’s Connexus account

  • Click the Grade Book (A+) icon in the upper right corner

  • Click the name of the class, and then scroll down to the list of lessons and scores.

  • Click on any score to see the correct/incorrect responses and teacher feedback written in the comment boxes.

Late work policy:  Work that is two weeks overdue will result in a Temporary Zero.  Portfolio items must be completed to earn credit.

TEMPORARY 0'S

Temporary Zeroes

If an assignment is overdue, your teacher will assign it a temporary 0, which appears as 0* in the gradebook.

You still need to complete the lessons in order, and as you complete each lesson the temporary 0 will be replaced with your grade. If you earned a permanent 0 on an assignment (for example, if you turned in an incorrect or blank portfolio), you will need to contact your teacher about re-submitting that assignment.
