TEST, QUIZ, AND PORTFOLIO REVISIONS
FOR TESTS & QUIZZES MULTIPLE CHOICE
You can earn make-up points on tests and quizzes for incorrect multiple-choice responses. Use this Test and Quiz revisions template to revise responses to Multiple Choice questions. You will use this template to:
In one or two sentences, explain your thought process when you chose the incorrect answer. In other words, what were you thinking about when you selected the incorrect answer? Even if it was simply a guess, say so.
In another sentence or two, explain what you know about the item or concept now that you see the correct answer. In other words, what have you learned? It’s not enough to say “I thought the answer was True but now I know it was False.” You need to explain your thought process and show me that you’ve learned something.
REVISING WRITTEN RESPONSES FOR TESTS, QUIZZES, AND DISCUSSIONS
You can always resubmit any written work for more points if you are disappointed with your score. This goes for portfolio assignments, essay questions on Unit Tests, short-response questions on Quizzes, and Discussion Assignments.
To revise written work (portfolios, discussion answers, and essay responses on tests and quizzes), send your teacher a revised and improved written response or essay by WebMail.
NOTE: Make-up credit for Quick Checks is not accepted because, all combined, these are worth only 5% of your grade.
PORTFOLIO REVISIONS
For portfolio items, first review teacher feedback and make the appropriate changes to your draft. When you are ready to resubmit, webmail your teacher and ask them to reopen the dropbox for that assignment. You can upload your resubmission there.
