ZOOM LIVELESSON AND WEBMAIL ETIQUETTE
LIVELESSON ETIQUETTE
LiveLessons are weekly lessons related to the course lessons. They are held Tuesdays at 1pm and will be posted to your planner.
The English 10 LiveLesson room must be accessed from the link on the Message Boards or in the Webmail you teacher sends out, NOT from your teacher’s personal LiveLesson.
English 10 LiveLesson Zoom Room Link
Recordings will be posted on the English 10 Message boards by the end of the day of the lesson.

When you attend LL you are expected to:
-
Be respectful. (Think before you comment.)
-
Please participate.
-
Stay on topic.
-
Use complete words. (Do not write u, lol, etc.)
-
No private names (IM, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, etc.) in the chat box.
-
No phone numbers in the chat box.
Students who attend Live Lessons consistently score higher on tests and Portfolios and generally understand the material more. If you do not attend a Live Lesson, you should at least review the recording.
Keep in mind that Live Lesson Attendance and participation can factor into your final grade. If you regularly attend LiveLessons, that can mean the difference between a B and an A, or an F and a D.

WEBMAIL ETIQUETTE
Teachers send important Webmail messages often.
You and your Learning Coach should read Webmail messages EVERY DAY.
It is important that students practice proper use of the English language including capitalization, punctuation, etc. even when writing webmail.
Teachers will try to respond to webmail within 24 business hours.

Your teacher needs to know…
Which course, unit, and lesson is the student asking about?
What is the specific question?
When and how could the teacher reach the student?
